The Parliament adopted the Law regulating the expropriation of property under martial law
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading and as a whole the draft Law on Amendments to Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Critical Infrastructure" (regarding the settlement of disputes involving state ownership of state-owned critical infrastructure facilities) (Reg. No. 8316).

The right to go to court to protect rights and freedoms is not limited.
Enforcement proceedings are not suspended with respect to obligations that arose after the date of the compulsory alienation of shares (stocks, stakes) of critical infrastructure operators in favor of the state.
Enforcement proceedings are not suspended with respect to decisions on the payment of wages, severance pay, and other payments (compensation) due to an employee in connection with employment; on compensation for material (property) damage caused by injury, other damage to health, or death of an individual; on the recovery of alimony; on the recovery of arrears in the payment of contributions to the mandatory state social insurance funds and arrears in the payment of a single contribution to the mandatory state social insurance.
The legal regulation of certain aspects of the expropriation of property under martial law has been improved, which will provide additional opportunities for emergency response at critical infrastructure facilities.
It is envisaged that, by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will manage corporate rights (shares, stakes) expropriated under martial law in accordance with the legislation on the management of state property.
The issues of state registration are being improved in connection with the transfer of corporate rights to the Ministry of Defense.
