New grant program for small businesses: who can get it
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced a new grant program for Ukrainian micro and small businesses.
Its main goal is to support Ukraine's economy by restoring jobs and production, as well as meeting the population's demand for critical goods and services.
The maximum amount of grants will be up to USD 7,000 in the hryvnia equivalent for microenterprises and up to USD 20,000 for small businesses.
The following companies can apply:
- registered at least 1 year before the date of application;
- registered in Ukraine and owned by Ukrainian citizens;
- are ready to create new jobs (at least 1 new job thanks to the grant for microenterprises, at least 3 for small enterprises).
The competition is open to enterprises geographically located in the following regions:
▪️ Sumy region,
▪️ Kyiv region (except Kyiv city),
▪️ Chernihiv region,
▪️ Dnipropetrovska oblast,
▪️ Mykolaiv region,
▪️ Lviv region (except Lviv city),
▪️ Chernivtsi region.
Priority will be given to:
► war-affected, damaged, destroyed and displaced enterprises;
► enterprises run by women and young people
► enterprises whose activities contribute to the support of vulnerable groups
► enterprises in rural areas.
To participate in the competition, please fill out the application form by 18:00 on June 23, 2024.
The application deadline is July 5, 2024.
