Government extends passport service of SE "Document" for Ukrainians abroad
On June 4, the Government made a decision to extend the pilot project that allows the State Enterprise "Document" to accept applications for issuing documents abroad.
This project was implemented by the State Migration Service to provide passport services to Ukrainians abroad. The project was launched in 2022 and was supposed to end at the end of June this year.
Given the social significance of the project to support our citizens abroad, the Government has extended the work of the State Enterprise "Document" for another 6 months.
This initiative was discussed at meetings of the relevant Coordination Headquarters chaired by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
Today's decision of the Government regarding SE "Document" is the result of a joint initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Reintegration expresses its gratitude to the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and personally to Minister Ihor Klymenko for the prompt development of the draft relevant act.
