The Government exempted businesses and citizens from guaranteeing the payment of customs duties when importing equipment to restore energy capacities
On August 9, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted the Resolution "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 27, 2022 No. 1091", drafted by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
The adopted decision supplements the list of goods that are not required to be secured by customs authorities when imported into the customs territory of Ukraine and/or transported in transit.
This simplification primarily applies to the import of power generating equipment, wind and solar generation equipment, batteries (except for low-power batteries)* and will help citizens and businesses meet their own energy needs while the country's energy facilities destroyed by the enemy are being restored.
