Men abroad who have not updated their military records will not be able to obtain and exchange driver's licenses
Men liable for military service abroad who have not updated their military registration data will not be issued or exchanged driver's licenses or registered vehicles.
This is stated in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of August 13, No. 918.
According to the resolution, male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 years, in respect of whom there is no information on updating personal data in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists, will not be provided with the following administrative services
- Acceptance of documents for obtaining administrative services for the exchange of a driver's license, including those issued for the first time, or obtaining it after loss or theft;
- acceptance of documents for state registration (re-registration) and deregistration of vehicles.
In addition, international post offices will not send driver's licenses and vehicle registration certificates.
