New automated customs clearance system implemented at all automobile checkpoints on the state border

On August 15, the State Customs Service of Ukraine successfully completed the implementation of a new automated customs clearance system at all automobile checkpoints on the state border.

This is an important stage of the large-scale digital customs reform aimed at optimizing processes, simplifying procedures, saving time and reducing costs for businesses. In addition, the new system will speed up border crossing for citizens.

The transition to the new system was smooth and gradual, without interrupting the customs clearance process. Thanks to the coordinated work of the State Customs Service and customs teams across the country, all checkpoints continued to operate as normal.

One of the key components of the new system is its integration with the new automated risk management system. This system, which has already demonstrated its reliability and efficiency in previously implemented modules, allows for more efficient identification and minimization of risks associated with the movement of goods across the border. In addition, it helps to work out the identified risks efficiently, ensuring a high level of control and security at checkpoints.

Additional components are planned to be introduced in the future, designed to meet the need for further European integration. These innovations are based on the approaches and processes used in EU countries and will further improve interaction with European customs systems.

We are grateful to our international partners for their financial support and active participation in the implementation of this project. With their support, we managed to create a new fault-tolerant and disaster-resistant IT infrastructure that ensures uninterrupted system operation and maximum data protection even in the most difficult conditions.

Digital transformation remains the basis for rebooting the Ukrainian Customs Service, bringing it closer to European standards.
