Wheat export volumes for the 2024/2025 marketing year have been approved

The European Business Association announces that the maximum wheat export volumes for the 2024/2025 marketing year have been approved. According to the Appendix to the Memorandum, the maximum export volume of wheat was agreed at 16.2 million tons (all classes).

This document is one of the factors in maintaining the balance between domestic grain consumption and export opportunities. After all, stability and predictability are a priority for Ukraine and one of the main factors of national and food security. Ukraine has been and remains one of the guarantors of the world's food security and is ready to supply grain harvested in 2024 to the world markets.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and grain market participants in the 2024/2025 marketing year was signed on July 15, 2024. This document contains mechanisms for interaction between grain market participants, exchange of information on the prospects for grain exports, and monitoring of the grain market.
