The Rada has calculated the funds that can be received from economic booking
Theintroduction of a reservation system that will assist the "white" sector of the economy in ensuring equal opportunities for booking important military personnel is estimated to bring up to UAH 200 billion annually to the state budget, according to Chas Dyskiv.
This was announced by Dmytro Natalukha, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development, at the Congress "Public Finance Reform - the Way to Restore Ukraine."
"The Committee's activities focus on meeting the budget financing needs through various instruments. The first is direct fiscal support for defense spending. Here, we do not rely on a massive tax increase, but on the creation of new mechanisms, the search for new tools and new ways. Among other things,we do not reject the issue of economic reservation, which, according to our calculations, can bring in at least UAH 200 billion a year," he explained.
The MP explained that the idea of economic booking does not concern the identity of specific individuals.
"It is about ensuring stability for businesses so that they can continue their activities and pay taxes that are used to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, this is the main source of funding," Natalukha emphasized.
