The implementation of procedures for verification of ultimate beneficial owners has been postponed until September 1, 2024
In order for all subjects of initial financial monitoring to take the organizational measures necessary to implement the mechanism for notifying the holder of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations of discrepancies in information about the ultimate beneficial owner and ownership structure of a legal entity, the Ministry of Justice issued an order dated 18.03.2024 No. 727/5 "On Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine dated July 12, 2023 No. 2542/5", and a joint order of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance dated 22.03.2024 No. 834/5/142 "On Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated July 10, 2023 No. 2513/5/378".
These orders postponed until September 1, 2024 the implementation of
► Procedure for notifying the holder of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations of discrepancies between the information on the ultimate beneficial owners and/or ownership structure of a legal entity received by the primary financial monitoring entity as a result of due diligence and the information on the ultimate beneficial owners and/or ownership structure of a legal entity placed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations
► Procedure for transferring by the holder of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations of information on discrepancies between the information on the ultimate beneficial owners and/or ownership structure of a legal entity received by the primary financial monitoring entity as a result of due diligence of the legal entity and the relevant information in the said register, and on the primary financial monitoring entity that revealed such discrepancies to a specially authorized body.
