Government abolished more than fifty outdated requirements for business
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended more than fifty outdated acts and recognized 15 resolutions as invalid. Some of them were adopted back in the days of the Ukrainian SSR. The Government adopted decisions to implement the Action Plan for Improving the Business Environment in Ukraine at a meeting on March 29, 2024.
In particular, a number of resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine excluded the requirement to put seals on documents submitted by entrepreneurs to public authorities if such a requirement is not established by law.
"The government is systematically abolishing irrelevant regulations that only complicate business operations. For example, according to the law, the use of seals became voluntary 10 years ago. However, the relevant requirements remained in the bylaws. With today's decision, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has brought government regulations in line with the law. It has also canceled virtually ineffective, outdated decisions, some of which were adopted back in the Soviet era and have obviously long since lost their relevance," said Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Sobolev.
Earlier, as part of the deregulation reform, the Interagency Working Group on Accelerated Review of State Regulatory Instruments for Business Reviewed over 1300 regulatory instruments for business. Of these, 584 were recommended for simplification and 456 for abolition.
