NSDC to consider the threat to society from online casinos - Zelenskyy
The National Security and Defense Council is preparing to consider the issue of threats to the security of society due to the spread of online casinos and the uncontrolled nature of this area, Ekonomichna Pravda reports.
He said this in his evening address.
"All opportunities in this area to manipulate people and harm the interests of society must be and will be blocked," the president said.
In his address, Zelensky also mentioned the author of the petition to restrict online casinos, which started the discussion, Junior Sergeant Pavlo Petrychenko of the 59th Brigade, who died on April 15.

It was reported that the petition to restrict the operation of online casinos on the website of the President's Office received more than 26 thousand votes out of the 25 thousand required for consideration.
On March 29, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Special Communications Service, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council to collect analytics on online casinos and their impact on society.
