Parliament simplifies access to cheap loans for defense companies
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted draft law No. 5473-d, which opens up the possibility for defense companies to have access to the 5-7-9 cheap loan program. This was announced by MP from the Servant of the People faction Oleksiy Movchan.
"Among the main provisions of the draft law is the possibility for Ukrainian manufacturers of drones, weapons and other defense companies to receive state aid in the form of the 5-7-9 program and grants," Movchan explained.
He added that the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development has been constantly working with the country's leading business associations to get the best result.
"In particular, drone manufacturers will be able to claim 80% of the cost of production and financing up to UAH 8 million from the state. And participants of the 5-7-9 program will be able to count on a loan of up to UAH 150 million," the parliamentarian summarized.
