The NBU explains whether restrictions on card transfers will affect the work of volunteers

Andriy Pyshnyi said that the restriction of card transfers and the UAH 100,000 limit will not affect volunteers, the Judicial and Legal Newspaper reports.

As you know, the NBU plans to limit card transfers and introduce limits of UAH 100,000 and 30 transactions per month for outgoing P2P transfers.

National Bank Governor Andriy Pyshnyi said that the decision to limit card transfers and the UAH 100,000 limit will not affect volunteers. He said this during a telethon.

According to him, if certain problems arise, the regulator will discuss all aspects with the volunteers and make amendments.

"In no way will the innovations introduced by the National Bank limit the work of volunteers. This is fundamental. Volunteers will not feel it - this is a priority for us. Of course, we will gather them again and discuss them carefully. If there is a problem, we will calibrate the solution," said Pyshnyi.

He noted that the initiatives currently being put forward by the National Bank for discussion will help ensure that the final decision takes into account all possible risks.

"Our proposal is that it will not affect volunteers in any way, and there will be no restrictions, so there are no need for any concerns and worries," added the head of the National Bank.
