According to Valentyn Mondriyivskyi, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration and member of the Kyiv City Council, the economic crisis caused by the war does not allow small and medium-sized businesses to develop to the fullest extent, so Kyiv provides financial and credit support to entrepreneurs working in strategic industries.
"In times of war, it is important to preserve jobs so that residents can continue to live in the capital. Kyiv, in particular, promotes small and medium-sized businesses and has been providing financial and credit support to entrepreneurs since the beginning of the large-scale war. However, today's realities require expanding the list of businesses that can receive assistance. That is why the Kyiv City Council has adopted a decision stipulating that companies in the processing industry and the production of aircraft and spacecraft and related equipment can also receive financial and credit support from the city budget. Attracting additional resources to these industries in wartime will help increase production, modernize technologies, and improve product quality. This is of strategic importance not only for Kyiv, but also for the country as a whole," emphasized Valentyn Mondriyevsky.
He noted that this support will be valid for the duration of martial law and 90 days after its termination or cancellation.
