We are approaching EU legislation on e-identification and e-trust services: The Government adopted a resolution

The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution defining organizational, methodological, technical and technological conditions for providers of e-identification and e-trust services, as well as the procedure for their verification.

From now on, e-identification service providers and qualified e-trust service providers will have clear requirements for the provision of services, for their employees, as well as requirements for security and information protection.

The following changes have also been adopted:

  • speed up the confirmation of user data through registers for the provision and receipt of services,
  • allow users of electronic identification devices to be registered;
  • create conditions for obtaining e-identification means with appropriate levels of trust;
  • update the list of harmonized standards.

The draft resolution was developed with the participation of experts from the International Technical Assistance Project "EU Support for Ukraine's Digital Transformation" (DT4UA).
