Rising prices and layoffs - what will happen in Ukraine if taxes are raised
According to a survey of businesses about their actions in case of tax increases:
♦ 72.2% of Ukrainian businesses will increase prices for products or services;
47.7% will optimize taxes;
45.0% will optimize costs;
21.9% will reduce staff;
21.9% will look for new sales markets;
17.9% will suspend operations in Ukraine;
11.3% will increase efficiency;
10.6% will reduce production and sales.
Only 2% of respondents said they did not plan to optimize their tax payments in the event of a tax increase.
The MP suggests analyzing what will happen in the aggregate: the budget will receive 0 additional revenues, while the shadow and migration of business is impressive.
