The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to cancel privileges for customs clearance of parcels
Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's Tax Committee, spoke about a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian retailers and postal operators. They discussed the Cabinet of Ministers' proposal to cancel the parcel customs clearance privilege.
This EUR 150 exemption clearly favors large international companies that supply goods to the customs territory of Ukraine without paying VAT. The volume of deliveries is growing fantastically.
"At this rate, our companies will lose most of their market share next year, and in the year after that they will be on the verge of survival. Therefore, we must act quickly," the MP writes.
