Tax increase from October 1: the future of the draft law
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak told us when to expect the fiscal bill No. 11416-d, which was voted down by the parliament on September 3, to come into force. As a reminder, the document was sent back for a second first reading (with a shortened deadline).
What does this mean in practice?
"In fact, during this week, the government will develop a new version (or slightly modified). And it will be adopted as a revised text (conditionally, as it was under the law on BES), or....., in short, it will be "the revised text of the revised text".
And then it will be voted on again.
When will it be?
► Most likely this week. The IMF mission is about to end, and on Wednesday we have a working group to finalize the text.
Then the Committee will meet.
Sometime next week, a second vote in the first reading.
If it is successful (and this directly depends on the progress of the customs reform), then it will be time for submitting amendments and the second reading.
When is the second reading?
Either it will be the usual 2 weeks
► Or, if there is a separate vote with 226+ votes, then 7 days.
Given that there will definitely be a lot of amendments and resolutions to block the signing, I think that we will not reach a final decision before October.
Accordingly, I have little faith that there will be at least some opportunity to implement these changes by October 1," the MP writes.
