Order on Hygienic Requirements for Food Production Enters into Force
Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine No. 3498 approving Hygienic Requirements for Production and Circulation of Food Products of Animal Origin Supplied in Small Volumes to Final Consumers or Local Retailers entered into force.
In particular, the requirements apply to the production and circulation of eggs, fish products, live bivalves, poultry and hare meat, as well as wild animal carcasses and meat.
The hygienic requirements for the production and circulation of food products of animal origin supplied in small volumes are established in accordance with the approaches defined by the legislation of the European Union.
The Order improves the mechanisms of state regulation in the field of relations related to the production and circulation of food products of animal origin supplied in small volumes. This will facilitate the circulation of safe food of animal origin by establishing uniform, transparent and clear requirements for the production and circulation of food of animal origin supplied in small volumes.
