Companies employing veterans will receive tax benefits

Draft Law No. 12399 "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on Exemption from Taxation of Enterprises with 60 Percent of Employees Being War Veterans" dated January 13, 2025 was registered in the Parliament.

The purpose and objective of the draft law is to create additional incentives for companies that actively employ war veterans by exempting them from taxes that may be applied to such companies.

To this end, the authors of the draft law propose to exempt from taxation for a period of five years the profits of enterprises in which at least 60 percent of the average number of full-time employees on the payroll who have their main place of work there are war veterans, starting from the first year in which the enterprise meets these conditions.

If adopted, the Law will come into force on the day following its publication.
