Hetmantsev believes that the Rada is the main obstacle to the legalization of porn

The head of the Verkhovna Rada's Tax Committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, said that the main obstacle to decriminalizing the creation of pornographic content is the parliament's unwillingness to reform, Ekonomichna Pravda reports.

He expressed this opinion during the New Economy event organized by Ekonomichna Pravda and Mezha.

"If we talk about your content, we are all definitely in favor of legalizing it, and you have the right to pay taxes, just like everyone else. For me, this issue is closed," he said when answering a question from a porn content creator.

"In fact, today there is a parliament that is not very inclined to reform, not like in the first term of our cadence. This is a certain obstacle for us to pass this through the hall," the MP continued.

In addition, Hetmantsev noted that tax payments are not affected by a person's type of employment, as the tax authorities "do not analyze or watch the content" generated by the models.

"I would recommend everyone who is engaged in this activity to file a declaration and pay tax," he concluded.
