MPs propose to raise social standards

A group of MPs registered Draft Law No. 12462 "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025" on Increasing the Subsistence Levels, Minimum Wage and Minimum Old Age Pension" in the Verkhovna Rada.

Taking into account the need to make priority expenditures from the budgets of all levels in 2025 to ensure the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the draft law provides for a gradual increase in the subsistence minimum, minimum wage, and minimum retirement pension in 2025.

The draft law proposes to approve the increased amounts from April 1, 2025:

1. Subsistence minimums in the following amounts:

  • on average per person from April 1 - UAH 4710, from July 1 - UAH 6645, from October 1 - UAH 9761;
  • for children under 6 years of age: from April 1 - UAH 3627, from July 1 - UAH 5110, from October 1 - UAH 7533;
  • for children from 6 to 18 years of age from April 1 - UAH 4571, from July 1 - UAH 6451, from October 1 - UAH 9467;
  • for able-bodied persons: from April 1 - UAH 5400, from July 1 - UAH 7620, from October 1 - UAH 11184;
  • for persons who have lost their ability to work (for pensioners and persons with disabilities), from April 1 - UAH 3407, from July 1 - UAH 4808, from October 1 - UAH 7056.

2. The minimum wage in the following amounts:

  • in the monthly amount: from January 1 - UAH 8000, from April 1 - UAH 9100, from July 1 - UAH 10100, from October 1 - UAH 11184;
  • in the hourly rate: from January 1 - UAH 48, from April 1 - UAH 55, from July 1 - UAH 61, from October 1 - UAH 68.

3. Minimum old-age pension: from January 1 - UAH 2361, from April 1 - UAH 3407, from July 1 - UAH 4808, from October 1 - UAH 7056.
