On March 1, 2025, the operation of all gas stations may be suspended

The reason is that starting from March 1, only cash registers that generate fiscal receipts in the new form approved by Order No. 601 of the Ministry of Finance can be used.

Currently, no cash registers can be modified and updated, as the National Bank, the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Service have not approved a new protocol for transferring information from cash registers to the State Tax Service, taking into account the new form of fiscal check.

It is unknown when they will approve it.

MP Nina Yuzhanina emphasizes that only traditional (hardware) cash registers are allowed to be used at gas stations, so from March 1, gas stations must either stop selling fuel and close, or they will operate in violation of the law and will be fined 150% of the cost of fuel sold.

"I have repeatedly written that the terms for issuing fiscal checks in the old form should be extended (at least for six months).

But the Ministry of Finance does not hear me," the MP writes.
