Hetmantsev spoke about the effect of the introduction of advance payments of the CPT from exchangers

Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, says that he has been asked by many people about the effect of the law on advance income tax payments from exchanges adopted in 2022.

He reports the following.

In 2024, exchangers paid UAH 789 million, which is 113 times more than the amount of income tax they paid in 2021.

Moreover, their number has remained virtually unchanged for two years. At the beginning of this month, the official number of exchangers in Ukraine was 3,665, owned by 56 legal entities.

In January 2025, they paid UAH 76.5 million in advance fees, which is UAH 12.3 million more than in the same period in 2024.

"And remember how much talk there was about the unprofitability of exchangers, thousands of unemployed, and the killing of business. From an industry that paid a total of UAH 7 million a year.

This betrayal has obviously broken. Bring on the next one," D. Hetmantsev writes.
